Characteristic-free test ideals

چکیده
Tight closure test ideals have been central to the classification of singularities in rings characteristic p > 0 p>0 , and via reduction equal 0 as well. Their properties applications described by Schwede Tucker [Progress commutative algebra 2, Walter de Gruyter, Berlin, 2012]. In this paper, we extend notion a ideal arbitrary operations, particularly those coming from big Cohen-Macaulay modules algebras, prove that it shares key tight ideals. Our main results show how these can be used give characteristic-free singularities, including few specific on mixed case. We also compute examples

Universal characteristic decomposition of radical differential ideals
We call a differential ideal universally characterizable, if it is characterizable w.r.t. any ranking on partial derivatives. We propose a factorization-free algorithm that represents a radical differential ideal as a finite intersection of universally characterizable ideals. The algorithm also constructs a universal characteristic set for each universally characterizable component, i.e., a fin...
متن کاملCharacteristic Cycles of Local Cohomology Modules of Monomial Ideals
In his paper Lyu G Lyubeznik uses the theory of algebraic D modules to study local cohomology modules He proves in particular that if R is any regular ring containing a eld of characteristic zero and I R is an ideal the local cohomology modules H i I R have the following properties i H m H i I R is injective where m is any maximal ideal of R ii inj dimR H i I R dimRH i I R iii The set of the as...
متن کاملComputing Characteristic Sets of Ordinary Radical Differential Ideals
We give upper bounds for the order of the elements in a characteristic set of a regular differential ideal or a radical of a finitely generated differential ideal with respect to some specific orderings. We then show how to compute characteristic sets of these ideals using algebraic methods. 2000 Mathematics Subject Classification: 12H05, 13B25, 13P10.
متن کاملThe Calculation of Radical Ideals in Positive Characteristic
We propose an algorithm for computing the radical of a polynomial ideal in positive characteristic. The algorithm does not involve polynomial factorization.
متن کاملCharacteristic Ideals and the Structure of Lie Algebras
The purpose of this note is to study the radical and such concepts as semi-simplicity and simplicity for Lie algebras in terms of characteristic ideals. The program follows the outlines of part of a fundamental paper of Fitting on finite groups, and the final result displaying an isomorphism of an algebra 8 with no solvable characteristic ideals into the Lie algebra of derivations of a uniquely...
